Dr. Lalit Nihal is currently a Consultant Gastroenterologist at the Department of Medical Gastroenterology and Hepatology in Ramkrishna CARE Hospitals, Raipur, one of the leading super-speciality hospitals in Central India with state-of-the-art facilities and professionals on board.
He has been associated with the P. D. Hinduja National Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai as a Clinical Assistant in the Department of Cardiology and Critical Care soon after his post-graduation. Currently, he is the top Gastroenterologist in Raipur. He has also functioned in the capacity of Registrar and Lecturer at the Department of Gastroenterology in T.N. Medical College and B.Y.L. Nair Charitable Hospital, Mumbai after his super specialization.
His stint in academics continued as Associate Professor, Department of Medical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Narayana Medical College and Super-speciality Hospital in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh where he also helped establish and worked to get recognition from MCI for the DM program in Gastroenterology. He did a fellowship in Liver Transplant from Sir Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi in 2010. He went for a fellowship in Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) in 2016 at Global Hospital Mumbai followed by an Endoscopy Visiting program at Florida Hospital, Orlando, USA. He is a DNB teacher in Gastroenterology as well.
