Brief Profile

After graduating from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, Dr. Nikhilesh Jain did his DNB (Medicine) from Apollo Hospitals, Chennai and went on to finish his MRCP (Ireland). He developed an interest in Critical Care and continued his work with Critical Care Services Apollo Hospitals Chennai where he worked in different capacities in the Department of Intensive Care including junior consultant and did his IDCCM training there. He joined Choithram Hospital as Chief intensivist and after a brief stint of about 3 years went on to join Bombay Hospital Indore as a consultant in Intensive Care.

In 2012, he went on to Join CHL Hospitals, Indore (Now CARE CHL Hospitals) as Director and Operational Head Dept of Critical Care Services and has been spearheading the 35 bedded unit since that point in time. He has more than 65 papers and several book chapters along with lectures at different forums to his credit and is also the scientific Co-Chair for Criticare 2023 (The annual meeting of the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine). He has been awarded Dr. JC Patel and Dr. BC Mehta awards and the best poster award by the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine. He has done his fellowship in ECMO and is an advanced WINFOCUS provider.

His areas of expertise include Neuro Critical Care, Sepsis, Acute care nephrology and CRRT/ECMO. He has been an abstract reviewer for Neurocritical care society on multiple occasions and has been a journal reviewer for many national and international journals.
