Dr. Ashvin Kumar Rangole completed his Masters in General Surgery from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, and trained in Surgical Oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. Further, he underwent training in Thoracic Cancer Surgery from the National Cancer Center, Tokyo, and in Radical Esophageal Surgery from Juntendo University, Tokyo.
In a career spanning 20 years, Dr. Ashvin has performed around 4000 cancer surgeries. He has gained immense experience in performing complex surgical oncology procedures such as Lung & Mediastinal Tumour Resections, Uniportal VATS, Breast Cancer & Oncoplastic Surgery, Sphincter Preservation in Rectal Cancer, Organ Preservation Surgical Approach for Head & Neck Cancer & more. His stint with Washington Cancer Institute, USA and National University Hospital, Singapore helped him hone his skills and gather valuable experience. He played a pioneering role in complex Cytoreductive Surgeries & HIPEC Procedures for Appendiceal Cancer, Peritoneal Mesothelioma and Ovarian Cancer, in Central India.
Apart from his clinical expertise, Dr. Ashvin Kumar Rangole is actively involved in medical research and has numerous research papers, publications, and presentations to his credit including one at the World Cancer Congress in Spain.
